Indonesia haze: ‘I am apprehensive about my child’s well being’

Kalimantan is likely one of the worst-hit areas in Indonesia as a smoky haze, attributable to deliberately-set forest and peatland fires, blankets the area.

Some locals are looking for refuge in emergency shelters generally known as “oxygen homes”, whereas others are taking issues into the arms and preventing the fires themselves.
